Job title: Systems Engineer, Sr.
Job location: Cranbury, NJ and Unanticipated Client Sites across the US. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate domestically
Number of positions: 1 opening.
Job duration: Permanent position, Full time, Mon – Fri, 40 hours per week.
Job Description: Develop and maintain design inputs documentation, including System-level requirements, product specifications, traceability matrices, and test to specifications. Perform System Scope identification, system analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and User Acceptance Testing using Python, Java, Maximo, DB2, Linux, BIRT, Eclipse, WebSphere Application. Develop and implement system-level design verification and validation concepts. Gather requirements and translate them into functional requirements and technical API specification documents. Write complex SQL queries across multiple database tables and perform data analysis. Support Enterprise Asset Management systems, which includes monitoring, emergency response, change management, demand forecasting and capacity planning. Perform software integration and testing.
Education and Experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering or IT or IS plus 5 years progressive experience in job offered or as Analyst or Engineer. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree and 5 years experience will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or IT or IS plus 2 years experience in job offered or as Analyst or Engineer. Prior work experience must include 2 years experience using Python, Java, Maximo, DB2, Linux, BIRT, Eclipse, WebSphere Application, Enterprise Management System.
